What the Photos Show
A photo of neatly wrapped furniture tells you more about a mover than any advertisement. Look closely at the pictures above and you will see the habits that protect your goods on the road. Each item is covered completely, not just on the visible side. Corners carry extra layers because corners take the knocks. Cartons are sealed and marked, and loads in the truck are tight, with no space for goods to slide.
Sofas and Upholstery
Sofas are first covered with a soft layer to protect the fabric or leather, then wrapped in corrugated sheet or a waterproof cover, and finally sealed with stretch film. The blue waterproof covers you see in several photos are used whenever rain is possible or the journey is long. They keep upholstery dry and clean even if the truck is opened in wet weather.
Wardrobes, Mirrors and Tall Furniture
Tall pieces are the easiest to scratch and the hardest to handle. We wrap wardrobes and glass cabinets in full corrugated sheet with corner guards, keep doors taped shut, and carry them upright. Mirrors and glass shelves are removed where possible and packed separately with bubble wrap and a rigid backing.
Bikes and Scooters
Two-wheelers in the gallery are padded at the handlebar, tank, lights and mirrors, then covered in corrugated sheet and stretch film. In the truck they stand upright, tied to the side walls so they cannot tip. For long routes we can also send bikes separately through our vehicle transport service.
Appliances
Refrigerators are defrosted, dried and wrapped with the doors taped. Washing machines have their drums secured. Televisions travel upright with a rigid shell. You can see several boxed appliances in the photos, packed and labelled before loading.
Loaded Trucks
The photos of loaded containers show how weight is distributed: heavy items at the front and bottom, furniture in the middle, cartons stacked by weight and fragile items on top. The load is tied with ropes and belts in sections. A well-loaded truck is safer and often smaller, which keeps the cost down.
Office Moves
Office furniture in the gallery is wrapped in coloured covers and labelled by department and desk number. This colour system lets our crew place each item in the right spot at the new office without asking. Read more on our office relocation page.

What to Look For in a Mover's Photos
Photos are one of the few ways to see a moving company's work before you book. When you look through this gallery, or any other mover's photos, these are the details worth checking.
Packing quality
Look for furniture that is fully wrapped, cartons that are taped on every seam and fragile items with visible padding. Loose sheets or half-wrapped items usually mean rushed work.
Closed vehicles
Household goods should travel in closed trucks or containers, protected from rain and dust. Open trucks are suitable only for some construction or industrial loads.
Organised loading
A well-loaded truck has heavy items at the bottom and front, cartons stacked neatly and everything tied. A disorganised load is more likely to shift and cause damage.
Uniformed, careful crew
Crew members who work in pairs, lift correctly and handle cartons gently are a good sign that the same care continues out of sight.
