Room-by-Room Packing Plan
Every room has its own risks, so we pack each one differently.
- Kitchen: plates and bowls wrapped individually and stood on edge, glasses in divider cartons, spices and dry food sealed so nothing leaks, and the gas stove and chimney packed separately.
- Pooja room: idols and frames wrapped in soft cloth and bubble sheet, placed in a dedicated carton that you can carry yourself if you prefer.
- Bedrooms: beds and wardrobes dismantled, screws bagged and taped to the frame, mattresses in waterproof covers, clothes folded into cartons or hanging boxes.
- Living room: sofas covered in foam and stretch film, the TV boxed with corner guards, glass table tops in wooden frames, and paintings in corrugated sleeves.

Loading, Transport and Delivery
How a truck is loaded matters as much as how items are packed. Our loaders place the heaviest pieces, such as the refrigerator, almirahs and washing machine, against the front wall of the container. Furniture follows, then cartons stacked by weight, with fragile cartons at the top. Blankets and padding fill the gaps, and the load is tied with belts so nothing moves when the truck brakes.

For intercity moves, we assign a driver who knows the route, and your coordinator shares updates at loading, midway and before arrival. Room-by-Room Home Shifting Checklist
A home move goes smoothly when every room has a plan. Our supervisor walks through the house with you during the survey and notes what needs special handling, so nothing is decided in a hurry on moving day.
Kitchen
Steel utensils go into strong cartons, glass and crockery are wrapped piece by piece with paper and bubble sheet, and gas cylinders travel empty and sealed as transport rules require. The fridge is defrosted the night before and wrapped with foam and stretch film.
Bedrooms
Beds and wardrobes are dismantled where needed, screws are bagged and taped to the frame, and mattresses go into mattress covers. Clothes can stay folded in suitcases or travel in wardrobe cartons, whichever you prefer.
Living room
Sofas are covered with foam and corrugated sheet on the corners. LED TVs are packed in the original box if you still have it, otherwise in a padded crate. Showpieces and photo frames are wrapped separately and marked fragile.
Pooja room and valuables
Idols and religious items are packed with extra care, often in a separate carton that you can carry yourself. Jewellery, cash and documents should stay with you, and we remind every customer of this before packing starts.

Home shifting: common questions
How early should I book home shifting?
Book 7 to 10 days ahead for local moves and 2 to 3 weeks ahead for intercity moves. During the wedding season and month-end dates, earlier booking gives you more choice of dates.
Do you dismantle and reassemble furniture?
Yes. Beds, wardrobes, dining tables and modular units are dismantled at pickup and reassembled at your new home as part of the service.
Can I pack some things myself?
Yes, and it can reduce the cost. We recommend you leave fragile and heavy items to our crew, and use strong cartons we can supply for anything you pack.
What should I not give to the movers?
Keep cash, jewellery, important documents, medicines and valuables with you. Flammable items such as gas cylinders with gas, petrol and fireworks cannot travel in the truck.
Will the same crew unpack at the destination?
For local moves, yes. For long-distance moves, our partner crew at the destination follows the same packing list and process, supervised by your coordinator.
