This policy describes what personal information we collect through packersmoversagra.com, by phone, WhatsApp and email, and in the course of providing relocation services; why we collect it; who we share it with; and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who visits our website or contacts us, whether or not they book a move. We handle personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other Indian laws that apply to us.

Dev International Packers and Movers is a relocation company with its office at Plot 85/20, Tej Bahadur Enclave, Maharishi Puram Colony, Agra, Uttar Pradesh 282007. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the "data fiduciary" responsible for personal information collected through this website and our services.

Information You Share With Us

When you ask for an estimate, send a review, call, message or email us, you may give us your name, mobile number, email address, current and new addresses, floor and access details, moving dates, a list or photos of the goods to be moved, details of cars or bikes to be transported, and any notes you add. If you book a move, we may also collect identity and address proof where required for transport documents, your GST number if you need a business invoice, and payment references.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, our server records basic technical information when pages are requested, including IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and time of visit. This is used to keep the website secure, fix errors and understand which pages are useful. The website uses your browser's session storage to avoid showing the enquiry pop-up more than once per visit. Embedded services such as Google Maps may set their own cookies under their own policies.

Why We Use Your Information

• To reply to enquiries and prepare surveys and written estimates.
• To plan, carry out and follow up on your move, including vehicle transport, storage and insurance you choose.
• To prepare bilty, packing lists, condition reports and GST invoices.

We do not use your information to send unrelated promotions without asking you first.

Consent and Lawful Use

By submitting a form or contacting us, you consent to our use of your information for the purposes above. Some processing is also permitted without separate consent where it is needed to deliver the service you requested or to comply with the law. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us; this will not affect processing already carried out, or records we must keep by law.

Who We Share It With

We never sell or rent personal information. We share it only as needed with our supervisors, packers and drivers working on your move; with partner crews or transporters at other cities for the part of the move they handle; with insurers if you opt for transit or storage insurance; with service providers who host our website, email and business systems; and with authorities when the law requires it, for example at checkposts or in response to a lawful order.

How Long We Keep It

Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for up to twelve months so we can respond to follow-up questions, then deleted or anonymised. Booking records, invoices and transport documents are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require. Published reviews remain until you ask us to remove them.

Keeping It Safe

Our website uses HTTPS encryption. Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it, and our administration system is password protected. Paper documents such as packing lists are handed to you or kept in our office. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

Your Rights

You may ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or update it, ask us to erase it where we no longer need it, withdraw consent, nominate someone to act for you, and raise a grievance with us. Children

Our services are arranged by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and we will delete any such data that reaches us by mistake.

WhatsApp, Calls and Messages

If you message us on WhatsApp, your conversation is also subject to WhatsApp's terms and privacy policy. We use WhatsApp, calls and SMS only to handle your enquiry or booking and to share updates, estimates and invoices. We do not add customers to broadcast lists without consent or share numbers with other businesses for marketing.

Photos and Inventory

During surveys and moves we may photograph goods, vehicles and access points to plan the job, record condition and support insurance claims. These photos are used only for your move and are not published without your permission.

Links to Other Websites

Our pages link to external services such as Google Maps and WhatsApp. Their privacy practices are their own, and we are not responsible for them.

Spam Protection on Forms

Our forms include hidden fields and timing checks that stop automated spam. They do not collect any additional personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy as our services or the law change. The effective date above shows the latest version, and continued use of the website means you accept the revised policy.
