Car Carrier and Bike Transport from Agra
Your car or motorcycle travels on a proper carrier, not driven by strangers, with its condition recorded in photos at pickup and checked with you at delivery.
Quick answer: Dev International transports cars on car carriers and bikes in padded wrapping from Agra to any city in India. Delivery is usually door to door, every vehicle gets a photo condition report, and transit insurance is available. A hatchback between Agra and Delhi typically costs ₹7,000 to ₹12,000.
Why Not Just Drive It?
Driving your own car across the country costs fuel, tolls, food, a night or two in hotels and several days of your time, plus wear on the vehicle. Hiring a driver adds risk you cannot control. A car carrier moves the vehicle without adding a single kilometre to the odometer, and you travel separately by train or air in comfort. For bikes, carrier transport avoids a long and tiring ride on highways.
How Car Transport Works
- Booking: Share the car model, pickup and delivery addresses and your preferred date.
- Inspection: At pickup we photograph the car from every side and note existing scratches or dents in a condition report that you sign.
- Loading: The car is driven or winched onto the carrier and secured with wheel belts and chocks.
- Transit: Your coordinator shares updates until the carrier reaches your city.
- Delivery: We unload the car, you compare it with the condition report, and sign the delivery note.
Bike and Scooter Transport
Two-wheelers are wrapped with foam on the tank, handlebar and mirrors, corrugated sheet over the body and stretch film on top. The fuel tank should be nearly empty, and we remove mirrors where needed to avoid breakage. Bikes can travel with your household goods in the same truck, or separately in a bike carrier for faster delivery.
Documents Needed
Keep copies of the registration certificate (RC), valid insurance and pollution certificate, plus your ID proof. For company-owned vehicles, a letter of authority helps. Remove toll tags if you want to avoid accidental charges, and do not leave valuables or loose items inside the car. We issue a bilty for every vehicle we carry.
Open or Enclosed Carrier
Most cars travel on open multi-car carriers, which are economical and reliable. For premium or vintage cars, an enclosed carrier protects against dust, rain and road debris. At the time of booking we explain both options and their prices so you can decide.
Combine With Your Home Shifting
Many customers book home shifting and car transport together, so the car arrives in the new city around the same time as the furniture. One coordinator, one estimate and one schedule make the whole move simpler.
Preparing Your Car for the Carrier
Wash the car a day before pickup so scratches and dents are easy to see during inspection. Remove personal belongings, the parking card and any loose accessories such as phone holders and dashboard idols. Fold the side mirrors, lower or remove the antenna, and switch off the alarm or tell us how to disable it. Check that the battery is charged and the tyres are properly inflated, because the car will be driven on and off the carrier. Hand over one set of keys and keep the second with you.
Delivery and Inspection
When the carrier reaches your city, we call to confirm the delivery time and place. If the carrier cannot enter your street, the car is unloaded at the nearest safe point and driven to your door by our staff. Check the car against the condition report in daylight if possible, look at the odometer and ask any questions before signing. Any new damage should be noted on the delivery note on the spot.
Popular Car Transport Routes
Our car carrier service regularly covers Agra to Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad, as well as reverse routes into Agra. Carriers on the busiest lanes leave several times a week, which keeps waiting time short.
Transferring Registration
If you are moving permanently to another state, remember that your car will eventually need re-registration there. Keep the documents from the carrier move, including the bilty, with your vehicle papers, because the RTO may ask for proof of the date the car entered the state.
Car Carrier or Train?
Some owners consider sending a car by train. Rail can suit certain long routes, but it involves booking at the goods shed, loading and unloading at stations on fixed schedules, and separate road transport at both ends. A car carrier picks up from your home and delivers to your door, with one company responsible for the whole journey. For most customers moving from Agra, that simplicity is worth more than a small difference in cost, and the condition report protects you throughout. We are happy to compare both options for your route.

Car Carrier Routes From Agra
Our car carrier service runs on the same routes as our household moves, which means your car can travel with your goods or on its own. Popular lanes include Agra to Delhi, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad, and the reverse routes into Agra.
Many customers book car transport together with home shifting so the family car reaches the new city around the same time as the furniture. For expensive vehicles we recommend transit insurance on the declared value, and for bikes going with household goods our packing crew wraps them fully before loading.
Preparing Your Car or Bike for Transport
A little preparation makes vehicle transport faster at pickup and easier at delivery. These are the steps we ask every customer to follow.
Documents
Keep copies of the registration certificate, insurance and your ID ready. The originals stay with you. We fill the vehicle details on the consignment note and you receive a copy at loading.
Fuel and accessories
Leave about a quarter tank of fuel, which is enough for loading and unloading. Remove loose accessories such as removable stereos, chargers, toll tags you want to keep, and personal items from the boot and glove box.
Condition record
Before loading, our supervisor inspects the car with you and marks existing scratches and dents on the condition report. Take your own photos too. The same report is checked at delivery.
Bikes and scooters
Two-wheelers are drained of most fuel, the mirrors are folded or removed, and the bike is wrapped with foam and corrugated sheet before it is fixed in place. Keys are handed to the supervisor with a signed receipt.
At delivery
Check the vehicle against the condition report before signing. If anything is wrong, note it on the receipt and inform our office the same day so it can be handled under the agreed terms and any insurance cover.
Car Carrier or Driving Yourself?
Some owners wonder whether to drive their car to the new city instead of booking a carrier. Driving looks cheaper at first, but fuel, tolls, food, a hotel night on long routes and the wear on tyres and engine add up quickly. It also means a tired driver arriving on the same day the household goods need to be received. A carrier delivers the car without extra kilometres on the odometer and lets the family travel by train or air in comfort. For short trips such as Agra to Mathura, driving can make sense; for routes of several hundred kilometres, most of our customers find the carrier is the better choice.
Car and bike transport: common questions
How long does car transport take?
Up to 300 km usually takes 1 to 2 days. Longer routes take 3 to 8 days depending on distance and carrier schedules.
Is my car insured during transport?
Transit insurance is available and recommended. It is priced on the declared value of the vehicle.
Can I keep things inside the car?
We advise against it. Loose items can move and cause damage, and they are not covered by insurance.
How much fuel should be in the tank?
About a quarter tank for cars. Bikes should have very little fuel.
Do you move bikes with household goods?
Yes. A bike can travel in the same truck as your household goods, fully wrapped and secured.
